I know there are earlier times but none of them fit well into our plans. Last, being mid-January, I'm trying to evaluate possibly having to queue in the cold at 11pm, and how to get back to our Times Sq hotel at 2am-ish. I see myself more as an explorer of the space than someone who is going to really extert myself trying to keep up with a certain character. At 47 I'm healthy enough to walk miles and stand on my feet for hours, but running isn't my forte. My second "issue" is that of having to run after the characters. DD(18) would not be offended by the content but would be quite uncomfortable going off on her own. *Is* it possible to stay together throughout and still have it be a powerful experience? DS(17) is a theater student who would be all over this, not only as an audience member but also as an actor. I think what's causing me hesitation is more of the "you should split up and experience it alone" idea vs. I'd be interested to hear from any other parents of teens who have experienced this as a family. Yet, there's some "mom" voice that makes me question whether or not to do this. My teens are both of age and I'm not prudish (generally), nor are they. I have searched through reviews here and elsewhere but have only come across one that mentions teenagers. Ideally I would put it off for another time (we'll be back in Sept '13) but I'm afraid the show will close and we'll miss out on this very unique experience. Although our itinerary is already busting at the seams, the more I read about "Sleep No More" the more intrigued I am. My two teens and I will be vising NYC for a very fast-paced weekend in mid-January.
